چکیده

This study presents an experimental investigation of the recently established generalized linear sampling method (GLSM) for non-destructive evaluation damage in elastic materials. To this end, ultrasonic shear waves are generated a prismatic slab charcoal granite featuring discontinuity interface induced by three-point bending (3PB). The interaction probing with 3PB-induced gives rise to transient velocity responses measured on sample's boundary 3D scanning laser Doppler vibrometer. Thus obtained waveform data then carefully processed retrieve associated spectra scattered displacement fields. On deploying multifrequency sensory data, GLSM indicators computed and their counterparts classical (LSM) comparative analysis. Verified in-situ observations, map successfully exposes support hidden scatterers specimen remarkable clarity resolution compared its predecessor LSM. It is further shown that remains robust sparse partial-aperture inversion, thanks rigorous formulation. For completeness, one-sided reconstruction both investigated.

New approaches to coding information using inverse scattering transform

Remarkable mathematical properties of the integrable nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) can offer advanced solutions for the mitigation of nonlinear signal distortions in optical fiber links. Fundamental optical soliton, continuous, and discrete eigenvalues of the nonlinear spectrum have already been considered for the transmission of information in fiber-optic channels. Here, we propose to ...

Clinical and Laboratory Approaches to Hemophilia A

Hemophilia A is a worldwide disorder of coagulation system. It is a male disorder, yet females with hemophilia are rarely seen in communities with high rate of consanguineous marriages. The abnormalities in factor VIII gene transfer as an X-linked pattern in the family, affects as many as one-third of patients who had no family history of abnormality and thus the occurrence of a sporadic mutati...

Application of Inverse Scattering Method to Problems of Differential Geometry

This article presents, in a brief form, the recent results on application of the Inverse scattering method to some problems of Differential geometry. A connection between the theory of Integrable systems and Differential geometry is not a new concept. The Sine–Gordon equation was introduced in the theory of surfaces of constant negative curvature around 1860. Actually, it should be called the “...

Application of correlation-induced spectral changes to inverse scattering.

It is shown how the phenomenon of correlation-induced spectral changes generated on scattering of a polychromatic plane wave on a spatially homogeneous random medium may be used to determine the correlation function of the scattering potential of the medium.

Derivative Compressive Sampling with Application to Inverse Problems and Imaging

In many practical problems in applied sciences, the features of most interest cannot be observed directly, but have to be inferred from other, observable quantities. In particular, many important data acquisition devices provide an access to the measurement of the partial derivatives of a feature of interest rather than sensing its values in a direct way. In this case, the feature has to be rec...
